How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a Certified General Contractor I started using acrylic windowsills in my own single family homes and projects and later started Siltech® Manufacturing, Inc as a business and expanded the product line along with including installation as a contractor based service and Drop Ship to end users and out of territory customers.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Siltech® Manufacturing, Inc. has succeeded in "Changing the Industry Standard"™ for window openings to acrylic solid surface windowsills. In addition to creating the solid surface windowsill, Siltech® has added flooring transition thresholds, shower curb caps, window seats and wall caps to their list of products offered. Where available, Siltech® provides installation services for all their products. The installation and service side of our business has been a huge key to the company's success.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The company is headquartered in Naples, Florida and currently services markets in Florida with sales and installation and "Drop Ships" across the country. Siltech® products are also available online through The Home Depot website.
